Health Care and Orphan support in Uganda
PARTNER: Kigezi Healthcare Foundation (KIHEFO)
Working with the Kigezi Healthcare Foundation (KIHEFO), in the
Kibale district of Uganda, Change for Children provides support
to local children and adolescents living with the HIV/AIDS virus.
The project provide HIV testing and counseling services to adolescents;
anti-retroviral medications and treatments for opportunistic infections
to orphaned and vulnerable HIV-positive children; and provides
HIV-positive children living in poverty with the financial support
for schooling.
