Youth Programming

Rural Rights: Youth Action & Media Project is about sparking a conversation amongst Alberta youth (ages 14-20) about human rights. It’s time to share what we already know and open our minds to consider new perspectives and possibilities.

Rural Rights is coming to your region in 2010. Check out the locations & dates and choose the Training Weekend happening closest to you...

Rural Roots: Communities in Action, since 2003, has empowered thousands of Albertan young people by engaging them in global justice education tours, leadership training, mural painting, documentary projects, and hands-on, high energy youth conferences. We strive to empower, impassion, and connect our young people and future leaders.

Our program organizes exciting, hands-on global education and activism workshops throughout the year, giving youth the tools they need to get actively engaged in making a difference in their communities. Check out our past Rural Roots events...
